What a Great Place To Live

We offer student accommodation that is the envy of many

At Ardmore Flying School, we pride ourselves on our cosmopolitan nature. The student accommodation that we offer reflects our values of diversity and inclusion. Within the walls of our recently built four-bedroom townhouses, domestic and international students may share communal living spaces and amenities. Private bedrooms offer more personal areas for rest and study, with the option of an ensuite if available. A washing machine and TV are provided, as are cutlery and linen, meaning students need only bring clothing and personal items to complete the picture! With electrical power, water and internet also provided, everything you need to succeed is taken care of.

Nestled in vibrant neighbourhoods, the houses are well located with transport links that connect to the entire city. Closer to home, a complimentary van service transports students to and from the main building on the aerodrome, as well as to exam and medical appointments.

  • Single Room: $300.00 per week
  • Double Room (includes ensuite): $350.00

Pastoral Care

The Pastoral Care of Tertiary and International Learners supports the wellbeing and safety of the learners enrolled with New Zealand Education Providers. It sets out the responsibility that the education providers must meet. Under the Pastoral Care Code, Education providers promote and support student learning, well-being, and development and connect them with their social and cultural networks.

The code has 12 outcomes.

Outcomes 1 & 2 focus on education providers taking a whole of organisation approach to learner well-being and safety and that learner’s voice is embedded into the organisation.

Outcomes 3 & 4 focus on well-being and safety practices for all tertiary providers and relate to physical and digital environments.

Outcome 5 & 7 focus on student accommodation to ensure that it is safe and create inclusive communities.

Outcomes 8-12 have the exact requirements as the previous international code for tertiary learners and ensures international learners have access to the correct information and support before and during their study.
